The pandemic “goes away” but the real pandemic is here:
This important webinar highlights sepsis as a persistent and serious global health challenge, far outlasting the COVID-19 pandemic. Hosted jointly by ISAC and the European Sepsis Alliance to mark World Sepsis Day, the event features two expert-led lectures:
• Dr Ricard Ferrer explores the role of biomarkers and molecular diagnostics in sepsis care, questioning their real-world impact on diagnosis and outcomes.
• Prof. Evangelos J. Giamarellos-Bourboulis discusses the concept of holistic patient management, examining whether such an approach truly exists and how it can be implemented effectively.
Together, these sessions aim to spark critical dialogue and drive innovation in the global fight against sepsis.
